Abstract
The global political landscape is witnessing the rise of developing coutries in the the Global South, as well as developing countries in general. Among these, India has become a dynamic player in international politics. This shift is clearly demonstrated by India's active participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). By using historical research methods, policy analysis methods, and case studies, this paper shows that, through diverse policy approaches and the use of various tools, India has not only affirmed its position within the SCO but is also considered a successful developing country in Asia in expressing its views, rights, equality, and representation in international organizations.
