RUBBER PLANTATIONS IN THU DAU MOT PROVINCE FROM THE EARLY 20TH CENTURY TO 1939

Abstract

Based on archival materials, the article outlines the establishment, functioning, and growth of rubber plantations in Thu Dau Mot during the initial four decades of the twentieth century. Throughout this era, plantations held significant economic importance, exerting deep influences across various facets of the local economy and society.
