LIFE OF THE ELDERLY IN THE MEKONG DELTA WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF AGING POPULATION

Abstract

The elderly’s life is affected more or less by the process of aging population. The article analyzes the elderly’s current life in the Mekong Delta in order to find the similarities and differences from previous studies through the following respects: income, health, relationships and leisure activities. Thereby, some recommendations are suggested to support the elderly to have a better life in the context of aging population.
