THE IMPACT OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION ON VIETNAM’S INDUSTRIALIZATION AND MODERNIZATION TODAY

Abstract

The industrialization and modernization process is a critical pathway in which Vietnam is catching up with the advanced countries in the world. The scientific - technological revolution is playing a crucial role in the success of industrialization and modernization process. This study presents an overview of the scientific-technological revolution and the industrialization-modernization process; thereby, analyzing the ongoing impact of the scientific-technological revolution on the process of industrialization and modernization. Some recommendations are proposed to reinforce the effect of the scientific-technological revolution on the process of industrialization and modernization in Vietnam.
