Abstract
Kieu Thanh Que was a famous critic, an outstanding literature researcher from the South of Viet Nam in the early 1900s. He was a patriot who had a profound hatred to the current oppressive regime. Can Tho then became a meaningful place to Kieu Thanh Que. During his time here, despite being tracked by the authorities, he managed to make numerous achievements in his writing career. Can Tho and local people here earned a significant position in his works.
Those studies and articles written during his time in the city truly showed Kieu Thanh Que’s admirable spirit and talents, an enthusiast who endeavored his best to develop the national culture. Despite some shortcomings, those studies sufficed to prove that Kieu Thanh Que was in his prime while living in Can Tho.
