CULINARY CULTURAL VALUE OF HA GIANG PROVINCE'S ETHNIC MINORITIES IN TODAY ECONOMIC AND TOURIST DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
Besides spectacular and captivate landscapes, Ha Giang province is well-known for its cultural diversity of minority ethnic groups. In addition to customs and traditions, festivals, arts and literatures, the culinary culture also plays an important role in identifying its ethnic culture, protects the ecological environment and provides nutritional and health needs. Especially, culinary culture has been bringing unforgettable experiences to visitors as well as actively contributing to tourism development and livelihood improvement. Based on the researches on Ha Giang province's culinary culture, this article will suggest several solutions towards preservation and promotion for the unique cultural values of typical culinary types, such as making product differences; develope the "identity" and "professionalism" in food serving; honoring the good cooks and opening training classes to teach culinary culture to younger generation.
