IMPROVING THE SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES’ DEVELOPMENT POLICY IN BEN TRE PROVINCE

Abstract

Policy and business environment greatly influence the innovation and development of enterprises. Ben Tre province is known as one of the provinces with favorable natural conditions and preferential policies to encourage businesses investments in recent times. However, some issues such as ways of accessing to bank capital, financial procedures, taxation, and foreign investment still are many difficulties that small and medium enterprises, especially for innovative start-ups in Ben Tre, are facing. The paper analyzes to clarify these problems to propose solutions to improve the policies for the development of the small and medium enterprise in the province in accordance with current resources.
