Abstract

When the Yuan dynasty was established and ruled in China in the late of 13th century, the Mongol empire was very powerful and controlled a vast area of territories in the Inter-Eurasia continent. The Yuan’s annexation of the Southern Sung, the subjugation of Korean, invasion of Japan and Southeast Asia during this period reveals the alteration in Mongolian way of ruling, diplomacy and invading to the East, to reach the ocean and compensate for the limitations and shortcoming in their economy, politics and military.
