Feminist View in the Construction of Female Characters in Ho Bieu Chanh’s Novels

Abstract

In the early twentieth century, writers honoring women such as Ho Bieu Chanh started to appear. Ho Bieu Chanh wrote about female characters not only with love, sympathy, understanding, but also respect for true beauty. The female characters in the novels of Ho Bieu Chanh have fought for equal rights while at the same time affirmed a critical role in society.
