IMPLEMENTATION OF HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY IN THE PROGRAM OF NEW RURAL DEVELOPMENT IN VIETNAM (2010-2020)
Abstract
Over the past three decades, health insurance policies in Vietnam have been gradually built, consolidated and improved. In the development of new rural areas, many localities have actively implemented and creatively applied the national health insurance policy, so the proportion of people participating in health insurance increased rapidly and stably. However, the results are still limited in some localities, due to the limited awareness of some local people about health insurance policies; grassroots health care facilities have not really met the people's medical examination and treatment needs… The paper is an overview of health insurance policies in Vietnam through secondary sources to assess the situation of people's participation in health insurance in the program of new rural development from 2010 to 2020, thereby, proposing some solutions to improve the efficiency of health insurance policies in new rural development in the future.
