PRELIMINARY RESEARCH ON THE TOURS OF INSPECTION ACTIVITIES OF THE NGUYEN DYNASTY EMPERORS (1802-1883) THROUGH HISTORICAL SOURCES OF DAI NAM THUC LUC

Abstract

Inspection tour activities in the Nguyen Dynasty were mentioned quite a lot in the historical sources compiled by the National Historiographer's Office of Nguyen Dynasty. Based on historical sources from Dai Nam Thuc Luc, the article explores the amount, occasion, duration, scale, purpose and method of conducting this activity by the Nguyen Dynasty emperors from 1802 to 1883 with the desire to open a new perspective about inspection tour activities of the last monarchy in Vietnam history.
