ORIENTATION AND SOLUTIONS TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF VIETNAM’S MARITIME ECONOMY

Abstract

Vietnam's sea plays a very important role for the existence and development of the country. In recent years, the marine environment is being greatly affected by the exploitation of resources to serve economic development. That fact requires a strong enough inter-regional tool to ensure the harmony between sustainable development of the marine economy in the coming time in association with the protection of the environment and marine ecosystems. The article raises the issues of sustainable marine economic development, the policy of marine economic development in association with marine environmental protection, thereby proposing solutions to develop sustainable marine economy in Vietnam.
