DIFFERENT-ETHNIC AND DIFFERENT-RELIGION MARRIAGE OF CHAM ETHNIC PEOPLE TODAY

Abstract

The Cham ethnic people are one of the communities that possess a diverse and rich culture, passed down from generation to generation by family, clan, and village institutions. However, in recent years, socio-economic development has led to many changes in the culture and lifestyle of the Cham people. One of the significant changes in the cultural life is the marriage with people of different ethnicities and religions. The article is built on the method of ethnographic fieldwork, in-depth interviews, and sociological investigation as well as inheriting previous studies on the topic to learn more about the married life of the Cham community.
