ON SOME NEW FEATURES OF THE 2020 ENTERPRISE LAW

Abstract

In order to affirm the legal value governing business activities and ensure the freedom of business entities in the market economy in Vietnam, June 17, 2020, 90.68 % of National Assembly deputies participating in voting has approved the amended Enterprise Law. The Enterprise Law 2020 consists of 10 chapters and 218 articles and takes effect from January 1, 2021. The article analyzes the new points of the Enterprise Law 2020 related to capital conditions, name and head office address of enterprises when registering for business establishment and capital regulation of joint-stock companies under the lens of legal science.
