Abstract

Human resources are always seen to be a central point for social development. With the requirement of industrialization and modernization in Vietnam, Vietnam has made efforts to find new principles and motivations to improve fundamentally the quality of technical (engineering) human resources training. Based on available materials and data of our quantitative and qualitative surveys, this article provides information on the global socio-economic processes that have promoted and inhibited the globalization of education; at the same time, it suggests new opportunities and new challenges that need to be handled in the process of adapting and integrating into the process of education globalization in Vietnam. This paper focuses on highlighting the characteristics of the Vietnamese-France High-Quality Engineers Training Program (PFIEV) as a typical program on the engineer training innovation - a fairly successful pilot project of the two nations, which can be seen as an initial positive sign for diversified cooperation and dialogue in education and technology in the context of globalization.
