INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING SMART CITIES AND DISCUSSIONS FOR HO CHI MINH CITY

Abstract

Smart city development is becoming a global and Vietnamese trend of attention and direction. This is considered as an important launching pad for future economic and social development. Depending on their circumstances as well as different development strategies, each city often chooses its own path to develop smart cities. Currently, many cities has successfully developed smart city models. The article examines experiences of developing smart cities of some countries, with the goal of providing a better knowledge of sustainable development of smart cities in Ho Chi Minh City.
