Abstract

Foreign affairs has become an extremely important front with strategic significance in the history of the Vietnamese people's fight against foreign invaders, alongside other fronts (military, political, economic...) that have resulted in great achievements and glorious victory. Vietnamese foreign policy victories are always associated with the name Ho Chi Minh, the founder, trainer, and leader of modern Vietnamese diplomacy. Peace, equality, more friends, and fewer enemies have always played an important role in his foreign policy views. This ideology helped to turn many situations in favour of the Vietnamese revolution between 1945 and 1954, eventually leading to victory against the invading French colonialists.
