TRANSFORMATION IN AGRICULTURAL ECONOMY OF THE CHAM PEOPLE IN NINH THUAN AND BINH THUAN PROVINCES SINCE DOI MOI

Abstract

The economy of Cham people in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan is mainly relied on agricultural production, in which rice cultivation plays a key role. Before the renovation, the Cham people's agriculture was self-sufficient, self-reliant; in the market economy, the mode of production in agriculture has changed by applying advances of science and technology in production, the Cham's agricultural products have become commodities, a decisive factor to improve the life of Cham community in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces.
