LEAFLETS OF INDOCHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY IN THE UPRISING OF NGHE-TINH SOVIETS DURING 1930-1931

Abstract

The leaflet is considered as a special type of journalism and an effective propaganda method. Right after being established, the Vietnamese Communist Party (VCP) acknowledged the importance of propaganda and lobbying campaign. Along with the secret press, leaflet was an effective propaganda tool for Indochina Communist Party to push the climax of 1930-1931 movement, especially in the “Nghe-Tinh Soviets” movement. The paper examines the usage of leaflets in the Uprising of Nghe-Tinh Soviets (1930-1931) as well as analysis of the form and content of these leaflets in the period.
