Abstract

The process of globalization has created many opportunities for economic development and poverty reduction in developing countries, but it also presents the challenges in increasing social inequalities among population groups. Moreover, the process of industrialization and urbanization has made several changes in social and economic structures. Many national and international researches show that the change in economic mechanism leads to a change in economic structure, social structure, thereby, has strengthened the social stratification and affected the social mobility of workers.
