ECONOMIC POLICIES ANALYSIS BASED ON SUSTAINABLE GOVERNANCE INDICATORS

Abstract

The Bertelsmann Foundation of the Federal Republic of Germany initiated the "Sustainable Governance Indicators" (SGI) project in 2009. Its purpose is to evaluate the condition of sustainable governance in European Union (EU) and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) nations on a yearly basis. This article presents the economic policy aspect of the SGI assessment framework. Following that, the findings of the 2022 project assessing the economic policy performance of the 41 countries involved are showcased.
