Nhận diện cơ cấu lao động trẻ đang có việc làm ở nông thôn và thành thị giai đoạn 2018-2022
Abstract
The process of industrialization and modernization in Vietnam has recently achieved certain achievements and contributed to the shift in labor structure towards the trend of reducing the rate of agricultural labor and increasing the rate of industrial and service labor. However, rapid industrialization and modernization also take away resources from agriculture and lead to significant changes in rural society (including a change in the structure of young workers). From the results of analyzing data from the Labor and Employment Survey (2018-2022), the article shows the current situation of young labor structure in rural Vietnam according to socio-demographic aspects, analyzes and compare with the corresponding situation in urban areas. Accordingly, the proportion of young female laborers participating in economic activities is lower than that of males in both rural and urban areas; There is a significant difference in the proportion of trained young laborers between urban and rural areas; The proportion of laborers in the state sector in both urban and rural areas has tended to decrease in the recent period.
