Abstract

The circular economy model implemented in the production process of enterprises in industrial zones is considered one of the effective solutions to reduce waste towards sustainable development in the world as well as in Vietnam today. To that end, the awareness of workers in the enterprises of environmental protection associated with the circular economy plays a crucial role. Therefore, the research team investigated the current state of awareness of environmental protection associated with circular economic development of workers in the South Tân Uyên Industrial Zone, Bình Dưong province based on a quantitative questionnaire survey. Research results have shown that workers there have had basic understanding of issues related to environmental pollution in industrial zones and the important role of environmental protection. Along with that, workers participating in the survey were initially aware of the entire role of the circular economy model, and its significance in protecting human health.
