Abstract

During his lifetime, President Hồ Chí Minh paid great attention to taking care of and protecting the people's health. For him, taking care of and protecting people's health means solving issues directly related to people, thereby improving both physical and non-material health of the people. Hồ Chí Minh's views on caring for and protecting the people's health are very comprehensive and profound, realized into revolutionary practice by him and the Communist Party of Vietnam and the State of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, contributing greatly to increasing resources for the nation, meeting the requirements of the struggle for national liberation, resistance war, national construction and the initial step towards socialism in Vietnam. Currently, the value of Hồ Chí Minh's thought on caring for and protecting the people's health remains intact, guiding the entire Party, people and army in applying it in improving the effectiveness of healthcare for and protection of the people's health in Vietnam.
