Abstract

Law on Real Estate Business No.29/2023/QH15 was promulgated by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on 28 November, 2023 and took effect from 1 August, 2024. The goal of this law is to tighten the management of real estate business and relevant services activities in Vietnam. Among them, the real estate business brokerage is considered one of the important activities, which has a great influence to the real estate market. This article provides some assessments and forecasts for the domestic real estate business brokerage activities in the context of new relevant regulations by studying experience in managing such activity in a few countries around the world.
