Vấn đề quản lý và sử dụng đất đai trong quá trình đô thị hóa ở một làng ven đô Hà Nội

Abstract

The urbanization process often increases a demand for land use and creates a pressure on the recovery of agricultural land as well as changes in its purposes. It also gives rise to conflicts, complaints and lawsuits related to land prices, compensation, support, resettlement and granting the land use right certificates, etc. Based on field research in a peri-urban village in Hanoi in the process of converting administrative unit from a commune to a ward, the article shows the current status of land management and use by local communities; thereby pointing out the issues in the land management and use at the village and commune levels during the urbanization process today and proposing some recommendations and solutions for these.
