Abstract

The development of socialism and the path to socialism play an extremely important part. Socialism as a social regime, along with national independence, constitutes the goal of the Vietnamese revolution. Socialism as a process of social conversion, along with the national liberation revolution constitutes the Vietnamese revolutionary path. Socialism as a doctrine is a part of the theoretical foundation of Vietnam. Over the past 93 years, Vietnamese revolutionary has actually proved that socialism and the path to socialism not only brought independence, freedom, prosperity, and happiness to the people but also created “fortune, potential, position and international reputation as of today” for the country. That achievement is both the right choice and the true value of socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam.
