Abstract

Traders providing services on e-commerce exchanges are the main subjects in e-commerce activities under the B2C model. They provide a huge virtual market place for sellers and consumers to conduct e-commerce activities. However, in order to protect relevant parties in these activities, legislators need to stipulate legal liability for owners of e-commerce floors in accordance with the current practical situation. Therefore, the author analyzes, evaluates and recommends the following issues: the obligation to register, verification and disclosure the object's identity; general and separate liability; and establishment of a system to assess the quality of goods and services.
