Abstract

The article focuses on clarifying the role of political cadres in military academies and officers’ training schools in the protection of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s ideological foundation and the struggle to reject wrongful and hostile views in the cyberspace. In the institutions, the political cadres are the ones in charge of party and political work, and, therefore, they are taking charge and responsible toward the Party leadership, political commissars/instructors, their superiors and the Party leadership (Party cell) for the quality and effectiveness of the protection and the struggle. Based on an assessment overviewing of the current situation and the newly arising issues, the article proposes a number of measures to bring into play the role of political cadres in military academies and officers’ training schools in the struggle to protect the Party’s ideological foundation in the cyberspace at present.
