Sự tham chính của phụ nữ: Thực tiễn quốc tế và hàm ý chính sách cho Việt Nam

Abstract

The role of women, which is asserted in politics, has increased significantly. It is a sign that the goal of democratization worldwide and in Vietnam has been implemented more and more substantively. The article describes the rate of women's political participation in the world and in Vietnam in recent years. Vietnamese women attain more political opportunities and access, thus determining gender equality at all the four levels of the political system. The result of the article suggests different policy implications for escalating women's political participation in Party and State agencies and socio-political organizations to realize the Party's goal of gender equality and promoting the role of women in socio-political life.
