Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the relationship between knowledge management (KM)-driven human resource management (HRM) activities and the logistics service providers’(LSPs) performance with the mediating role of logistics capacity. Through a survey of 224 LSPs in the Vietnam Southeast region and analysis using Structural Equation Modeling and Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM), the study demonstrates that KM-driven HRM activities including recruitment, training and development, and motivation directly and indirectly affect the LSPs’ performance, in which logistics capacity partially mediates this relationship. The study highlights the value of KM-driven HRM in acquiring, developing, and utilizing knowledge to create organizational capabilities and increase the LSPs’ performance. Thereby, it proposes a number of implications to improve the LSPs’ performance from the perspective of KM-driven HRM activities.
