Abstract
This study explores personal skills that enhance learners’ effectiveness in applying AI, while examining the role of critical thinking during usage. Data were collected from college students using a convenience sampling method, yielding 224 valid responses. Analysis results show that professional skills, soft skills, and digital literacy significantly influence students’ effective AI use. Notably, critical thinking activation serves as a key mediator, transforming personal skills into improved learning outcomes after AI application. These findings offer practical implications for designing AI-integrated education solutions to boost learners’ adaptability and learning capacity in the digital era.
