Researching on technology solutions to support and maintain to reuse haulage roadway as a ventilation one in longwall mining system

Abstract

Longwall method in underground coal mine have a large loss in the pillar between longwalls located next to each other and the cost of digging and maintaining tunnels is high. To solve these problems, there are 03 ways to implement. In which, the technological solution to maintain the main gate of upper longwall to be the tailgate of lower longwall has not been developed yet. Currently, based on the advances in anchoring for tunneling and rock mass control technology, this solution has just been studied and applied. In the content of the article, the group of authors summarizes some research contents, as well as the results of applying technological solutions in the conditions of Khe Cham II-IV mine of Ha Long Coal Company.
