Corporate finance analysis – Applied at Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Ltd
Abstract
Corporate finance is the economic relationships in the distribution of financial resources associated with the process of creating and using monetary funds in the enterprise's production and business activities to achieve certain goals. Financial analysis is at the heart of financial modeling and corporate credit ratings, because this is the basis that provides us with the business performance status of the enterprise. It will be flawed and have an objective view of the financial situation of a business if you only look at 1÷2 financial indicators without considering the overall analytical assessment. To objectively evaluate the current financial situation of a business and forecast the future, people often use financial modeling with a system of financial indicators. The article mentions the system of financial indicators in analysis and its application in analyzing and evaluating the financial situation of Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin) in the last 5 years. Based on the theoretical presentation of corporate financial analysis, the article has presented the results of financial analysis of the Vinacomin for the period 2019÷2023.
