Variation characteristics of industrial geological parameters of the coal seam of Khe Cham mine and their influence on exploration and mining work
Abstract
Khe Cham coal mine has quite large coal potential, having been explored since 1958 and exploited since 1978. The results of processing coal seat industrial geological parameters using geological mathematical methods draw some conclusions. Comment:
Khe Cham coal seats are distributed in the northwest - southeast direction and are complicated by high-level faults and folds. The reservoir thickness varies from unstable (50% < Vm < 75%) to very unstable (Vm ≥ 75%).
Pillars and thickness of coal seats change in a harmonic manner, without any rules; Some areas of reservoirs change in a harmonious and regular manner. The variation of reservoir thickness is quite similar to the variation of reservoir pillar; At stable coal seam pillar locations, the seam thickness is often large and vice versa.
The ash level (Ak) of coal seats is relatively stable (VAk < 75%), except for seam V.10, which is unstable (VAk > 75%).
The morphology and structure of Khe Cham mine coal seats mainly belong to the group of complex mining seams (group II) to very complex (group III). Most of the coal seats belong to exploration mine group III, some areas (the central part of the mine) can be classified into exploration mine group II. The most reasonable exploration route is arranged in the north - south direction; For mine group II, with reserves level 121, line distance 100 - 150 m, works on the line 75 -100 m, line distance 150 - 200 m, works on the line 100 - 150 m for reserves level 122; For the mine group III, the line distance is 100 - 150 m, works on line 75 - 100 give reserves level 122.
The results of the study on the variation of industrial geological parameters of coal seams show that most of the coal seams in the Khe Cham mine belong to the group of complex (group II) to very complex (group III) mining seams. To the mechanize underground mining, it is necessary to conduct detailed research and divide the mine into relatively homogeneous mining blocks to select appropriate technology.
