BSR's strategic development orientation adapts to the energy transition trend and balances carbon footprint
Abstract
Energy transition has been a common trend for manufacturing and trading enterprises of countries around the world to implement the goals that Vietnam committed to at the COP26 Conference. The driving force behind the energy transition is the requirement to reduce carbon footprint and other greenhouse gases from all areas of human activities to combat climate change. The energy transition trend occurs in all areas, is multi-sectoral and leads to fundamental changes in the energy industry in general and oil and gas in particular. Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) is a member of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and is also in that trend. The article presents the strategic orientation for developing BSR to adapt to the energy transition trend and balance carbon footprint.
