Researching the effect of temperature on structure of the pellet
Abstract
The results of comprehensive analysis exploration and exploitation documents, combining modeling methods
The grain size of iron ore greatly affects the blast furnace iron smelting process. If the grain size is too fine, it will cause poor ventilation in the blast furnace and make it difficult to operate the blast furnace. In order to increase the grain size and improve the metallurgical properties of the ore, this paper presents the results of a study on the influence of sintering temperature on the structure and strength of pelletized ore. The results show that increasing the sintering temperature increases the strength of pelletized ore. At a sintering temperature of 1250°C and a sintering time of 15 minutes, the pelletized ore has a main mineral composition of Fe2O3, a low content of Fe3O4, a dense ore pellet structure and a compressive strength of 2330,6 N per ore pellet.
