Factors affecting the role of military youth in researching and applying digital technology to meet the requirements of building a modern army

Abstract

Research and application of digital technology to meet the requirements of building a modern army is a new field that requires promoting the role of organisations and forces within the army, including the role of military youth. In order to promptly and effectively promote the role of this force in researching and applying digital technology, it is necessary to deeply and comprehensively study the influencing factors. The article focuses on clarifying the necessity of studying the factors affecting the promotion of military youth’s role in the research and application of digital technology; six objective factors and three subjective factors affecting the enhancement of their role in researching and applying digital technology to meet the requirements of building a modern army; concurrently, it proposes five fundamental solutions to further promote this force’s contribution. These serve as an important basis for maximising opportunities and advantages, while minimising negative impacts and challenges affecting the field of digital technology research and application among military youth.
