The operation of SOEs in the context of applying a neutral competition policy

Abstract

This paper studies the operations of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in the context of applying a neutral competition policy in Vietnam. The results of expert interviews and statistical analysis show the current situation of the operations of these enterprises. The SOEs have achieved many remarkable achievements in terms of operations, but there are still certain limitations that need to be overcome soon. Therefore, the study proposes some recommendations for improving the operational performance of the SOEs in the context of applying the current neutral competition policy in Vietnam.
