Application of Big data in the construction of smart academy and university

Abstract

Big data is one of the bases of the Fourth Industrial Revolution with comprehensive impacts on the economy, society, environment, etc. Training, teaching, and research in academies and universities are also strongly influenced by Big data. In particular, the application of Big data achievements to improve the quality of training, teaching and research is creating breakthroughs that bring great advantages in education and training. The article focuses on analysing the basics of Big data, the practical application of Big data in academies and universities. Accordingly, the article recommends solutions to apply Big data in building smart institutes and universities in Vietnam.
