Supervision activities of the Provincial People’s Council in the mechanism of supervising the implementation of State power by the Provincial People’s Committee in Vietnam today

Abstract

Deciding on significant local issues and supervising activities are the two main and most basic functions of the Provincial People’s Council. Among those two functions, the supervisory function has an essential role in controlling the implementation of State power by the Provincial People’s Committee. The article studies the theory and the current situation, thereby proposing some solutions to ensure the supervision activities of the Provincial People’s Council in the mechanism of supervising the implementation of State power by the Provincial People’s Committee in Vietnam today.
