Abstract

The conversion from the traditional white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) farming model to a intensive farming model (density of 200 - more than 500 shrimp/m2 of water surface) has led to an increasing amount of pond sludge. However, the organic and nutrients content in pond mud is quite high, so it can be considered a resource that can be used for the production of organic fertilizers. The wet fermentation technology was applied for organic fertilizers production. The organic fertilizers quality meet QCVN 01-189:2019/BNNPTNT. In addition, the effectiveness evaluation results of fertilize for the OM18 rice variety also shown increase in productivity from 10.45% to 16.72% and an increase in economic value of about 4.6%...
