Abstract

The Southwest region is unique in terms of geography, population, and Khmer Buddhism. This is a fertile land deposited by the Mekong alluvium for thousands of years of history and has favorable natural conditions with tropical monsoon climate, fertile soil, very good for agriculture - forestry - fishery development. The natural resources here are diverse and plentiful, especially land, forest and aquatic resources. During the development of history, this land has attracted many flows of people to live, including residents from many regions of the country and residents from neighboring countries to live and settle down.
