XTIENG PEOPLE’S SITUATIONS OF LANGUAGE USAGE IN VIETNAM

Abstract

This article is about the language competence of the Xtieng people in Vietnam. At the same time, the article also analyzes the language usage in formal and informal communication domains. From there, the article suggests some measures to contribute to preserving the mother tongue for the Xtieng ethnic group and developing Vietnamese language proficiency for this ethnic group.
