CONSERVING CULTURE AND LANGUAGE DIVERSITY OF ETHNIC MINORITIES IN THE CURRENT CONTEXT OF INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATION

Abstract

Culture (of which language is an important element) of the ethnic groups are the common heritage of mankind. In the process of social development, in many multi-ethnic and multi-cultural countries, that diversity has not been lost but is increasingly honored thanks to the unity in the national cultural development and management strategy. However, in the face of the impact of the international integration process that is taking place widely in all aspects of social life, the protection of the cultural and linguistic diversity is becoming an urgent issue. The article analyzes the cultural diversity, language diversity, the situation of preserving cultural and linguistic diversity of ethnic minorities in Vietnam. From that, proposing some solutions to preserve the cultural and linguistic diversity of ethnic minorities is very necessary in the current international integration context.
