LINKING CONSERVATION AND PROMOTION OF CULTURAL VALUES OF ETHNIC MINORITY WITH ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, CONTRIBUTING TO SUSTAINABLE POVERTY REDUCTION IN ETHNIC MINORITY REGIONS CURRENTLY

Abstract

Documents of the Party's 13th National Congress continue to clearly define: “Ensuring ethnic equality, solidarity, respect, helping each other develop”. At the same time, “combating ethnic discrimination, ethnic extremism, and ethnic narrow-mindedness; strictly punish all plots and actions to divide and sabotage the great unity of the entire nation”. During the past years, our Party, State, National Assembly and Government have always paid special attention to ethnic issues, ethnic affairs and the harmonious settlement of relations between peoples, and have always had policies and strategies to develop, conserve, preserve and promote traditional cultural values of ethnic groups in general and ethnic minorities in particular, contributing to economic development, sustainable poverty reduction in ethnic minority areas.
