CONSERVING AND PROMOTING CULTURAL VALUES OF ETHNIC MINORITY MIGRATION IN THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINOUS REGION INTO THE SOUTHERN REGION

Abstract

The issue of migration (including organized migration according to the guidelines and policies of the Party and State as well as spontaneous migration) of a number of ethnic minorities in the Northern mountainous provinces into the Southern region has helps redistribute the population, at the same time promoting socio-economic development. In addition to the migration process, the cultural changes of these ethnic groups have followed. Therefore, there needs to be appropriate solutions to both help ensure stable lives of ethnic minorities in the Northern mountainous provinces migrating to the South, while also conserving and promoting traditional cultural features of these peoples
