CONSERVING AND PROMOTING THE CULTURAL VALUES OF DAO ETHNIC GROUP IN NAM DAM VILLAGE, QUAN BA COMMUNE, QUAN BA DISTRICT, HA GIANG PROVINCE IN TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

One of the current socio-economic development orientations in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the North of Vietnam is to exploit tourism from the unique and diverse cultural values of ethnic groups, typically community tourism. When cultural products are used to serve tourism, becoming tourism products will bring economic resources, contributing to improving the lives and awareness levels of the community. In addition, there is also a focus on raising the subject's self-awareness in conserving and promoting ethnic cultural values. Community tourism is a sustainable direction in the goal of conserving and promoting cultural values in parallel with socio-economic development today.
