DEVELOPING TOURISM IN ETHNIC MINORITY AREA IN BINH LIEU DISTRICT, QUANG NINH PROVINCE

Abstract

Tourism has become an important economic sector, making a positive contribution to socio-economic development, especially in areas with difficult conditions or ethnic minority areas. Binh Lieu is a
mountainous district in the northeast of Quang Ninh province, converging all favorable factors for the
development of tourism activities, associated with the promotion and preservation of unique indigenous
cultural values, with attractive natural resource values. The development of tourism in the area of ethnic
minorities in Binh Lieu district opens up great development opportunities, creating livelihoods for the
community, improving and enhancing the lives of ethnic minorities in Binh Lieu district, at the same time
contributing to the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values and values of the natural
landscape and environment in the district in particular and Quang Ninh province in general.
