Abstract
This study examines Sino Vietnamese elements as fundamental units of word formation in Vietnamese, highlighting their productivity and the broader influence of Chinese language and culture. By collecting, classifying, and systematizing these elements, the research establishes a reliable corpus for linguistic analysis. Statistical data and surveys are employed to assess the extent and capacity of Sino-Vietnamese participation in word formation, providing a foundation for both theoretical insights and practical applications. The findings are expected to contribute to research in lexicology and applied linguistics, while also informing efforts toward language standardization and development.
